More Help for Sore Muscles

workout1The essential oils cardamom, ginger, and tangerine go a long way toward relieving overworked, sore muscles when blended into a carrier oil like liquid shea oil. Use this recipe and massage sore muscles after your workout.

  • 1 oz liquid shea oil or sweet almond oil

  • 5 drops cardamom essential oil

  • 3 drops ginger essential oil

  • 6 drops tangerine essential oil

Spicy oils can feel too warm on your skin but when blended with liquid shea oil and tangerine, they are balanced and just work the wonders we want them to work. Shea oil and tangerine essential oil both love skin! If this blend still turns out to be a little hot or irritating for you, just add 4 drops of lavender.
