Sore Muscle Massage

Massage is an excellent treatment for a plethora of conditions. It really makes sore muscles feel better in a very short time. Using essential oils with your massage turns it into an “aromassage” and that will benefit your body, mind and spirit. The best essential oils for sore muscles are eucalyptus, oregano, peppermint, rosemary and vetiver.

Most of you know that essential oils must be used with a carrier oil for massage. We usually talk about using sweet almond oil or jojoba oil for your massage carrier oil. Today though, I am going to promote the use of shea butter cream for your massage. You can use it with or without the essential oils and either way, it will be a very beneficial massage. Shea butter itself is a wonderful emollient for your skin. Adding massage to the application of shea butter makes your muscles relax and if you add one of the essential oils above you will feel great.
