Aromatherapy Stress Relief

Stress, whether good or bad, is recognized as a part of everyone’s daily life. It is not easy to avoid, but there are ways to manage it so that you lessen or avoid some of the effects it can have on your mental and physical well-being. Aromatherapy essential oils are a natural treatment for easing stress and below is a recipe for relaxation after you’ve had one of those less than delightful days at home or work.

For a relaxing bath add two drops of bergamot and one drop of petitgrain to your bath and stir to distribute. You can relax with this brew every day. Having a massage is also an excellent way to relax after a trying day. For a soothing massage combine the following:

  • 10 drops lavender
  • 6 drops chamomile
  • 4 drops sandalwood
  • 4 drops ylang ylang
  • 2 ounces carrier oil
