You can make fat blaster massage oils by adding 30 drops of essential oil to 2 tablespoons sweet almond oil plus 10 drops of carrot oil. The almond oil and carrot oil should be blended before you add the essential oils. For today, I have the general fat blaster massage oils for weight loss.

The olfactory glands interact with the brain and can identify over one trillion smells. When the nose inhales the aroma from essential oils, the olfactory glands interact with the hippocampus and amygdala, the parts of the brain responsible for emotions. Losing weight and keeping it off is often a struggle because of the psychological and physical barriers we battle in our bodies and minds. This week we will be discussing some of those oils more in depth but first, I’m going to give you some essential oil recipes for weight loss to get you started.

bath3For today’s blog, we have 4 synergistic blends for diuretic baths. As with the toning baths, make up a bottle in the proportional quantities below or use these quantities for two baths. Again, if you find one blend you like better than the others, whether for the aroma or for the diuretic quality, you can double, triple or quadruple the recipe.

  • 6 drops grapefruit

toningYou can tone your muscles with exercise and essential oils. The oils can be added to your bath water or you can use them in a massage oil and apply them either before or after your bath. Put your chosen essential oil on a face cloth and rub your muscles in the shower before you exercise to keep them supple. Use any of the following essential oils singly or in combinations:
