Have you ever eaten a big, delicious meal, and then gone for a leisurely walk to help you digest?

Sweet Marjoram does this every day! It loves to cook wonderful meals, and then take gentle nature walks. It brings along a little pair of scissors and a basket to collect wild herbs . . . and Sweet Marjoram is always ecologically responsible about what it’s harvesting.

These walks fill Sweet Marjoram with the peace of nature, and its digestion seems to flow more easily and naturally as a result.

If you can’t get out for a nature walk after every meal, here’s a digestion oil that can help just as much.

Sweet Marjoram’s “Nature Belly” Digestion Oil

  • 1 oz (30 ml) jojoba 
  • 9 drops Sweet Marjoram 
  • 3 drops Roman Chamomile 
  • 6 drops Cardamom 

Make your blend in a 1 oz (30 ml) glass bottle. Pour the jojoba in the bottle, add the essential oils, and shake gently.

Apply your digestion oil on your belly and low back after a big meal. You can also apply it before the meal, so it can keep your belly feeling comfortable even as it’s getting full. This blend is also helpful for muscle cramps, so if you experience tension or cramps in your belly, you can reach for this blend for relief.

If you find yourself in places where it’s not practical to apply a belly oil (such as work or out to lunch with friends), you can actually use an inhaler for digestion instead.
