If you’re like me, your cuticles can get very dry after doing housework such as laundry, dishes and bathroom cleaning. I could use gloves but I hardly ever do and even when I do, the gloves make my hands itchy anyway. When the delicate skin around your cuticles is dry and they look rough and ragged, you can use this oil-infused nail soak twice a week to make them beautiful and healthy looking again.

Add 1 tablespoon almond oil and 1 tablespoon jojoba oil into a microwave safe bowl and heat for 5 – 10 seconds. The oil should be warm but not hot. Soak you nails for 5 minutes and then rub the excess oil into your hands, especially around the cuticles.

Jojoba oil contains wax esters that are similar to the natural oil your skin produces to replace lost moisture.Ā strengthens your skin to prevent future hangnails. Warming the oils before beginning lets them absorb into your dry skin more easily.
